“One hundred years from now, it will not matter what kind of car I drove, what kind of house I lived in, how much was in my bank account, nor what my clothes looked like.  But the world may be a little better because I was important in the life of a child” -anonymous

Words to live by.  And words Don Liem lived by every day of his life - through acts of kindness, philanthropy, time invested in his children and grand-children, and his devotion to improving the lives of children all over the world.  Countless lives have been forever changed by the way he spread his love. The Don Liem kind of love - selfless and limitless.

The world needs more of this. And while there may never be another Don Liem, we can all do our part to ensure his legacy lives on.

How?  It's simple...  "Spread D Love"

SpreadDLove is a movement.  It is a lifestyle.  It is a cause created in honor of Don Liem, to continue his remarkable legacy of kindness, philanthropy, and dedication to making this world a better place.

Adopt a Family was an annual tradition that he looked forward to year after year with his family.  He would work through local non-profit organizations to identify families in need and together as a family, they would organize the shopping, wrapping and delivery of gifts. In his full Santa Clause costume and all, handing out candy canes and singing Jingle Bells as they delivered Christmas to families in need. Our hope is that our Grandfather's spirit of giving will live on through generations of our family and yours to.

This is how Miracle of 71st Street was born.   We want to give families an opportunity to not only celebrate the holiday season with a fun family tradition, but also experience one of the most important aspects of the Holiday Season- spreading joy to others.

We hope you will join us as we SpreadDLove this holiday season! We appreciate all of your support and we are so excited to watch this movement grow and see the impact we can make on the lives of children in our community.
